A Campus in the Shivalik Foothills

Set across 15 acres of enclosed valley at Chandpur, Shiva International Residential School has a setting that is very much a part of school life. Surrounded by greenery and the Shivalik foothills, the campus enjoys pristine, clean air and a largely pollution-free environment, away from the congestion and traffic of larger towns. Located about 8 kilometres from Bilaspur, it offers children the space and quiet to study, play and grow.

The School campus brings together the academic block, laboratories, libraries, sports facilities, playing fields, boarding houses and dining facilities in one setting. There is open space between the different parts of the campus, giving students room to move, spend time outdoors and take part in activities through the day.

Academic Life

The five-storey academic block has 34 classrooms and 7 laboratories, along with separate junior and senior libraries. There are also dedicated spaces for art and craft, music and school activities, as well as halls for meetings and other programmes.

Sport and Activities

Sport is an important part of daily life at SIRS. The campus has synthetic basketball and lawn tennis courts, playing fields for cricket, football and athletics, and facilities for indoor games. The School also has an indoor shooting range, opened in 2025.

Boarding

The boarding houses for boys and girls are located within the School campus. With resident house parents and wardens, the houses are designed to provide a comfortable and well supervised setting for residential students. The dining hall and kitchen are also located on campus.

A Campus That Will Grow

The campus is being developed in phases as the School grows. Further plans include a sports auditorium, indoor basketball and badminton courts, squash courts, a 25-metre swimming pool, additional boarding accommodation and staff facilities.
