A Message from the Chairman

Dear Parents,

A school is entrusted with something of lasting importance: the education and upbringing of children during the years in which their habits, confidence and character are taking shape. Shiva International Residential School was founded with a clear sense of that responsibility.

The School was established to provide children with a strong education in an environment where academic learning, physical development, creativity and character are given due importance. We want our students to acquire knowledge and skills, but equally to develop the judgement, confidence and sense of responsibility needed to use them well.

Our approach is rooted in Indian values while remaining open to the wider world. We believe that children should know and respect their own culture and heritage, while learning to understand different people, ideas and ways of life. Education should prepare them not simply to succeed in examinations, but to conduct themselves with honesty, courtesy, resilience and consideration for others.

The campus at Chandpur was developed with this purpose in mind. The School brings together classrooms, sports facilities, co-curricular activities and residential life in one setting, allowing students to learn from both their formal education and from the responsibilities and relationships that are part of everyday school life.

As the School grows, our responsibility is to build carefully and with purpose. New classes, facilities and boarding accommodation will be added over time, but the central aim will remain unchanged: to provide our students with the best possible education and to help them grow into confident, capable and responsible individuals.

We are grateful to the parents who have placed their trust in the School and to the teachers and staff who work each day to make that trust meaningful. I look forward to seeing Shiva International Residential School grow in the years ahead into a school of lasting value, while remaining firmly grounded in the principles on which it was founded.

With best wishes,
