Five Steps to
Enrolment
Admissions at SIRS are considered on a rolling basis, subject to availability of places. Early enquiry is strongly encouraged. The school reserves the right to request any documentation it considers necessary to assess an application fairly.
Who May
Apply
The following sets out the eligibility criteria for each class at SIRS. Age criteria follow CBSE and applicable state government norms, which are subject to revision. Families are advised to confirm the specific age requirement at the time of their enquiry.

| Nursery | Minimum age as per CBSE and state government norms. No prior formal schooling required. An informal readiness interaction may be conducted. |
| LKG | Completion of Nursery or equivalent. Age criterion applies. |
| UKG | Completion of LKG or equivalent. Age criterion applies. |
| Class I | Completion of UKG or equivalent. Age criterion applies as per CBSE norms. An informal interaction may be conducted. |
| Class II – V | Progress report or Transfer Certificate from previous CBSE-affiliated or equivalent school. Informal interaction may be conducted to assess placement. |
| Class VI – VIII | Progress report and Transfer Certificate from previous school. A written interaction or informal assessment may be conducted to confirm appropriate placement. |
| Class IX | Pass certificate from Class VIII. Transfer Certificate from previous school. School assessment may be conducted. Subject to seat availability. |
| Class X | Pass certificate from Class IX. Transfer Certificate from previous school. Subject to seat availability and school assessment. Early application strongly advised. |
What the School
Expects
Admission to SIRS is open to students of all backgrounds, faiths, and regions. The school does not discriminate on the basis of caste, religion, language, or place of origin. What the school does require is that the student and their family are actually committed to meeting the standards of conduct, attendance, and academic effort that SIRS expects of all its members.
