Our Affiliation

CBSE, The Board
That Opens Doors

Shiva International Residential School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, the largest and most widely recognised school board in India, whose curriculum and examinations are accepted by universities and institutions across the country and internationally.

CBSE affiliation was not incidental to the founding of SIRS. It was one of the school’s founding commitments. Families in District Bilaspur deserve access to a school whose certificate will carry weight wherever their child’s ambition takes them, whether that is an IIT, a medical college, a university abroad, or a professional career in any field. The CBSE credential provides that assurance.

SIRS is affiliated from Nursery to Class X. The Class X Board Examination is the culminating assessment of the school’s programme, one that SIRS prepares its students for without anxiety, through the consistent application of good teaching across nine years of schooling.
