The School That
Celebrates Beauty.

Music at every assembly. Art displayed across the campus. Drama productions of ambition and scale. The cultural life of SIRS is not a decoration around the edges of the education, it is woven into the fabric of every school day.

The Creative Life

Art, Music, Drama —
Every Single Day

Music at SIRS begins at 7:00 AM, at assembly, with the Saraswati Vandana and the National Anthem, performed by the whole school community with the intention they deserve. They are not formalities. They set the tone for everything that follows.

The school’s Creative Arts Club, Cultural Club, and music programme give students access to instruments, coaching, and creative direction across drawing, painting, craft, performance, and mixed media. Student artwork is displayed throughout the school, making the campus itself a living gallery. The discipline of making something beautiful is treated at SIRS with the same seriousness as any academic subject.

“The child who has created something they are proud of has learned something that no examination can measure, and that no employer will ever overlook.”

The Year’s Defining Event

The Annual
Cultural Programme

The Annual Cultural Programme is the year’s great public statement of the school’s artistic life, a full evening of performance that draws together the musical, dramatic, and visual work of students across all years. What SIRS students have produced in their first year reflects an ambition and a quality that establishes a very high bar for what follows.

From the epic grandeur of the Ram Leela, with full costume, choreography, lighting, and pyrotechnic effects, to the precision and dignity of classical performance, SIRS students have demonstrated that the school’s cultural programme is not a rehearsal for something greater. It is already the thing itself.

Ram Leela Production
Full costume, choreography, lighting design, and pyrotechnic effects. Epic in scale. Delivered by students.
Musical Performances
Classical Indian to contemporary, solo and ensemble, across all year groups.
Dance & Drama
