The SIRS School Pledge
India is my country. All Indians are my brothers and sisters. I love my country and I am proud of its rich and varied heritage. I shall always strive to be worthy of it. I shall give my parents, teachers and all elders respect and render assistance to them when in need. I shall be kind to animals and protect nature and the environment. I shall frankly and openly discuss all matters of importance and endeavour to only speak the truth in my dealings with everyone. I shall not indulge in any unfair means in my studies or otherwise. I shall encourage my friends and companions likewise to follow this pledge. In doing so, I shall always work as a part of a team and endeavour to contribute to the overall growth and development of my school and my country.
